CBT and other useful stuff to help
The above video is a heart warming presentation by David Burns, one of one of the pioneers of the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). He has written a few book about the methods. Basically you can take your thoughts and look at proof what is true and can help you change the way you think and behave. You can pick up distortions and correct them.
CBT is commonly used to treat anxiety and depression. Mental health problems are very common – approximately 1 in 4 people in the UK will experience a mental health problem each year.
In 2017 Stanford University launched a robot whom you can talk to via Facebook messenger. You can track your moods and it will help you analyse your feelings using CBT. At the point of writing this, the service is free. https://woebot.io/
